So, I managed to get my hands on these laboratory liquid splitters from the university. I don't really have lab conditions at home, but I do have space for some homemade beverages and rums.

I bought two 25mm x 25mm oak square sticks, cut them to fit between the shelves, and designed some components to hold the glass splitters.

The holder consists of 4 parts:

• Stand for the oak stick—it covers my not-so-straight cuts and makes the whole thing a bit more stable. (For stands without a countershelf, I recommend fixing the stand with stick tape.)

• Lower holder for the "pipe" of the splitter—this one takes most of the weight of the glass splitter.

• Upper Grip—designed in two parts to hold the splitter neck. I found that a 22mm diameter works for most splitter sizes. The first part is fixed to the oak, and the second counterpart holds it together with the "Fastener." I made a small hinge by drilling a 1.8mm hole and using filament (1.75mm) as an axis connector, securing the end by melting it. This idea came to me after designing the part, so it could be improved in a new version, but it works just fine for now.

• Fix screw—to secure the holders in position on the oak stick. I made this by splitting the body of a regular wing screw (the full one was too big and hard to print). This split version tightens well and is much easier to print.

So, for one stand you need:
2 × Stand (1× if you don't have a countershelf)
2 × Fix screw
1 × Upper Grip
1 × Counter Grip
1 × Fastener
1 × Lower holder

Material: PETG for chemical resistance in case of alcohol spills

I think it would be pretty cool to add space for LEDs to light up the splitter contents for extra effect—or a LED bar behind the stands could do the trick too.
