Use with 20x20mm aluminum extrusion, cold-shoe connect for LED dimmable light. This gets the lamp off the desk, allows plenty of work room and is generally adjustable.

Power cord is tacked down in top channel with a few drops of hot-glue. 

Second mount and lamp allows for some side-lighting. This one can extend a bit longer and get more of an angle behind the working area while the other lights well from above. This is a good set-up for painting models and miniatures. Keeps the work surface nice and unobstructed from cords and such. (allows for more important clutter!)).
