As of 11/8/17 this model will not work as is in PLA or PETG as the tabs will snap upon insertion attempt.

What this is:
A MOSTLY UNTESTED dual bladed attachment for the Ryobi 18V line of string trimmers. This should fit the same number of models the official dual bladed attachment fits but in my experience will NOT fit the 18v brushless nor the 40v system.

How to use it:
Print at 75% infill or higher. I printed it with PLA because it's cheap and easy and I wanted to see how well it'd perform. Anneal it if you like, however I have no idea how that will turn out in terms of shrinking/warping dimensions! You might have to leave the supports on the model if you go this route.

Use M6 or M7 bolts and nuts to fasten the blades to the head. If you go with M7, you may need to increase the size of the blades to accommodate the larger bolt... maybe...

Background:
Ryobi has a dual bladed attachment for their 18v string trimmers. Even though it's branded for their 24v and 40v systems, it does not fit all of them (and neither does this thing LOL). It annoyed me to no end... However, it does work with one of my trimmers, and it allows that weak trimmer to cut way more than it probably should be able to!

What I don't like about that dual bladed attachment is that it has the blades riveted in!!! What a ridiculous way to go about making it! They could make money off of selling these blades as every other manufacturer does, however they charge you $15 for a 2 pack of these bladed-heads and make off with even more of your money it seems.

I saw the brush cutter attachment, and I really liked it, however I didn't think that PLA was up to the task,and i didn't like the idea of replacing the whole attachment + head if/when the head fails due to a rock or normal use. I ended up printing the dual bladed trimmer head, but did so without checking the dimensions and ended up with a useless paperweight.

After that I decided to design/remix my own, and well, here we are!
