Library for the creation of gears

Here is a library for OpenSCAD to easily create gears.

include lib-gear-dh.scad

use the following commands to create the gears:

gear(teeth,thick,scale);
Where :

• teeth : number of teeth
• thick: thickness of the gearing
• scale: scale value to adjust the gear to the correct size in the system in which it functions.

When the number of teeth is changed, the diameter of the gear changes but the tooth geometry remains the same, allowing the gears that work together.

Creation of multipe gears:

gear (teeth, thick, scale);

teeth: number of teeth
thick: thickness of the gear
scale: value to the correct size according to the system where it is inserted.
When you change the number of teeth, the diameter of the gearing changes but the geometry of the teeth remains the same, which therefore allows to create systems that work together.

Creation an endless screw:

worm (scale);

scale: must must be the same as for the gear.
