I use two glucometers at home, and their packaging was cumbersome, so I designed this storage case.
This case holds two glucometers (maximum dimensions: 100mm L x 55mm W x 25mm H), two lancing pens, three test strip containers, several lancets, 50 alcohol pads, and space for cotton swabs or batteries.
External dimensions: 163 x 117 x 64 mm.
Two latches are attached using four M3x45 bolts. A sealing ring accommodating a 2mm diameter rubber gasket is included between the lid and base (optional for non-sealing applications).
The model includes: base, lid, core insert, latches, and lettering.
For the "Glucometer" lettering on the lid, slice the characters first at a height of two layers, then precisely align and slice the lid. When printing, print the characters first without moving the build plate, then print the lid. The lid has a 0.4mm recess matching the character positions.
The core insert is modular for various configurations.
All components fit together seamlessly and are easy to assemble.
My print settings were: 5 top/bottom layers, 3 wall layers, 0.2mm layer height.
