Introducing my custom-designed foldable crate – a practical, space-saving storage solution perfect for quilters!

This sturdy, 3D-printable crate measures 5" x 5" on the inside (approximately 127mm x 127mm), making it an ideal fit for neatly storing and organizing fat quarters (standard size ~18" x 22", folded to stack perfectly inside). The honeycomb-patterned sides and base provide excellent ventilation and strength while keeping the design lightweight and visually appealing.

Key features:

• Fully collapsible/foldable design for easy storage when not in use – snaps together securely when assembled.
• Removable lid with a handle slot, so you can stack additional items on top or store notions, tools, threads, or small projects inside.
• Customizable text on the sides – I printed a batch for my local guild retreat with "HEART OF THE HILLS QUILTERS" embossed (as shown in the photos). Easily add text in your slicer or CAD software for personalization, guild names, or fun quotes! I have included the stl's.
• Multi-purpose use – Beyond fat quarter storage, it works great as a small trash bin for thread snips, fabric scraps, or notions during sewing/quilting sessions.

Printed in PLA (or your preferred filament), it's durable for everyday use at home, in the sewing room, or at retreats. No supports needed for most orientations – prints quickly and reliably.
