3D QR code generator

This project allows you to design and create custom QR codes and download them in STL format, without the need to download additional tools.

New features

Bracket

Now, you can choose to include the scaffold in the downloaded file.

3MF format
You can now download QR codes in the .3mf format. The bottom will be white, and the top will be black. Currently, only white and black are supported, and other colors are still in development. Some slicing software will automatically integrate color changes when using this format.

Magnet hole
Now you can add holes for loading round magnets. Just select the number of holes

Working principle

1. Go tohttps://genqrcode.com/generator/stl。
2. Select the QR code type
3. Customize the layout of the QR code.
4. Add text and/or borders.
5. Click the Download STL button to open the configuration screen.
6. Enter the required dimensions and whether to add a base.
7. Download the STL file.

Hint
For the best results, you should use the default color and place black text above or below it, without a border.

For small and medium-sized QR codes with a size of 50mm, a QR code height of 0.5mm seems to work best. If the QR code height is increased too much, it will cast a shadow on the white part, making it difficult to scan.

The result without a base should not be printed directly, but should be applied to other designs.
