Summary
Electronics components (especially SMT designs) aren't too hard to make. But I saw a chance to make models for a coworker of mine so he can use during training sessions.

Notes:
These are the start (I hope) of a large list of surface mount (& perhaps Radial & Axial leaded) electronic components I'm designing from scratch to use as training tools for things such as J-STD Solder & Assembly training classes in production companies. I've seen the potential to used 3d printing for visual aides during training sessions.
These may not be 100% to scale, but they are close. You can go online to different component supply web-site to see their dimensions as they make them available for ease of PCB designing.
Painting was done based on actual samples I had.
Is there any particular component you'd like to see rendered? drop me a line & I'll see what i can add.
How I Designed This
I used Sketchup to design these.
