I've always struggled with getting the caps off the large bulk-bags of wine.

I've seen commercial units but they look too big/clumsy and I don't have a local supplier.

This is designed to pop the caps off easily and prints quickly.

There are may styles of bags/caps - this one is designed for caps approximately 40mm wide. It's a snug fit so the plastic hook part can be as strong as possible.

Printed flat it needs no supports and it seems to be strong-enough with a 40% infil. You might be able to get away with less - but it's a really quick print.

Scale the z-axis (if you're printing flat) to get a wider / narrower pry-tool.

Added Rev 3 which extends the nose a bit and extends the back-pawl just a bit. It has a slightly better grip and feel now and I'm not as concerned about the ends failing.

UPDATED: 2019-07-15

Added Rev 4 which tightens-up the spacing a bit. I made a few for friends and they found it took a 'knack' to open the caps. This one is a bit tighter and might need some 'work' to squeeze-on the cap but it opens much, much better.
