This is a key to open smoke ventilation control points (break-glass call points)

Residents often need to be able to silence an error warning overnight or reset a smoke vent in a small area after a false alarm. Normally they can't do this because the plastic keys required to open the call points are not left on site, this leads to a costly engineer callout.

Common sense and caution should always be applied when using the key, the responsible person must always be made aware of any activation.
