A friend suggested a spice container to carry his favorite spice(s) with him to add flavor when eating at a restaurent. 

This prints well in PLA. I used 0.3 layer .04 nozzle, and 10% infill. No brim nor support needed.

I glued the insert on top to the container, but sure it could printed as one piece. 

When assemblying, put the top on the container, marked where the holes are, then glued the insert with opening on open side. This way the spice is trapped in the container, and exposed by opening the top the desired amount, from small to 100%.

Tested it with pepper (salt is finer and will disperse even easie.) I probably will increase the height of the insert to more securedly trap the spice.
