After designing my first bookmark, I wanted to create another one !

Sources of inspiration for this design :

• Carbuncle model is directly inspired by Final Fantasy XIV Carbuncle model : https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Carbuncle / https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Summon_Carbuncle

This model can be printed with one or two filaments, with or without AMS ! I found a very cool filament combination :

• Blue part : Polymaker Polylite PLA Luminous blue (which is phosphorescent !)
• Red part : Extrudr NX2 PLA Matt - Volcano Red

Feel free to choose any combination that suits you and show some love to your favorite Carbuncle.

If you print with just one filament, you will be able to paint quite easily the lower crystal part though achieving a flawless result may require some painting skills. The small crystal on carbuncle head will be easy !

For bi-material printing, I recommend using the second material only for the lower ruby part and painting the small crystal on Carby’s head. I had inconsistent results due to the tiny surface area, so painting gave me better and more reliable outcomes. If you don’t have an AMS, you’ll only need to change filaments twice.

Printed on my Sovol SV06 Plus Ace at 150 mm/s, truly recommend using ironing to get smooth surfaces (25mm/s / 10% flow rate)
