I put the tower into the lid of a 9-liter "very useful storage box". The bottom of the box is a aquarium pump. The pump delivers water to the top of the tower through a pipe section with an inner diameter of 13mm

The oversized screw on the base is very tight and might need to be cleaned. But once it fits, it's very satisfying to play with.
