After serving for more than two years and going through many challenges, I finally decided to give my HEVO a comprehensive "makeover".
During the renovation process, I carried out a Klipper modification for HEVO, so I also re-optimized the design of the electronic compartment. After removing the display screen, HEVO's cable management became much easier.
This time, I focused on optimizing and adjusting the following major components:
1. The design of the convenient electronic warehouse makes the installation and maintenance of internal components more efficient and intuitive.
2. A PSU bracket with an independent USB interface, which allows flexible configuration of power output according to needs.
3. The cable organizing clip system can neatly store and fix all kinds of cables along the extruder guide groove, making the whole machine layout more tidy.
4. The mounting bracket of the Z-axis linear guide rail is improved, and a new cable perforation design is added, which is convenient for the wiring and connection of the end-point limit sensors.
5. The new flexible hot end mounting bracket abandons the traditional 3mm stud design and adopts more fixing points, greatly improving the installation stability and flexibility.
6. Manta MK2 and Boothy Mini hot-end components
7. Redesign the Z-axis motor mounting bracket, which can further increase the Z-axis travel height according to actual needs.

In addition, I have also carried out a comprehensive upgrade of the original installation baseboard, adding a large number of fixing points to enhance the future compatibility and expandability of the entire machine. For the Manta MK2 design, I have specifically provided two optional heat end solutions: one is the standard heat end assembly, and the other uses a more compact 3010 turbo cooling fan solution, tailored for miniaturized design. It should be noted that in the STEP file of the rear-mounted installation base of the Mini heat end, the installation center has been reduced by 0.4mm - I previously found
I hope these sharing can bring some practical value to everyone in the community. Due to the large number of components involved and my limited time, I have only uploaded the STEP files of each upgrade module. Please use this as a reference for evaluation and application when using them. For questions about specific components or details, I am more than happy to answer them for you; however, I do not plan to spend time specifically creating a BOM list or a detailed installation guide.
All parts are printed using red PETG from the Amazon Basics brand
Best wishes, Boothy
