Abstract
Updated on April 21, 2018: Two new versions have been added
When I uploaded this model, I never imagined it would be of any use. I originally created it just as a 3D printing demonstration piece, purely out of curiosity. However, if you take a look at the comments below, you'll find thatGuttyrIt was found that as long as you blow gently on it, the device can start spinning. Moreover, it can also be used by speech therapists to help children with special needs improve their respiratory control and breath support abilities.
According to the position of the airflow, different parts of the spinner will show different spinning effects. At present, I'm still exploring which positions and angles of blowing are the most ideal. Maybe it will also be helpful to myself - after all, I'm always prone to being out of breath when I'm at high altitude or underwater.
This model can be printed with an extrusion width of 0.5mm and a wall thickness of 2 layers, and it doesn't require infill.
