In order to print a hollow model with transparent PLA, we went through countless trials and errors, constantly adjusting the printing parameters. The process was truly full of twists and turns. Since there are too many details involved to list them all here, if you're interested, feel free to send me a private message at any time to obtain the Cura print configuration file.
Simply put, the key points are as follows:
Use the normal PLA printing speed and temperature
No support structure is needed
Set the filling density to 0%, but set the wall thickness to 2-3 layers
The adhesion to the bed surface is the biggest challenge. It's essential to make thorough preparations for it
Reduce the printing speed of the first layer by half
Increase the printing temperature of the first layer by 5℃
Increase the extrusion amount of the first layer by 50%
The bed temperature is controlled between 50 and 60 degrees Celsius.
