Object designed as replacement for broken glass cups
The metal ceiling chandelier has  6 blossom-like bins to hold a coned glass cup.
by accident 5 of them were broken, a replacement in  the same style of frosted glass  would have cost a fortune, as the manufacturing company was unknown and the cups would have been a special customized order at a glass factory.
So the idea was born to use transparent filament to come close to the look of frosted glass.
The big cup in the center is still original, so you can see there is no significant difference in look.
