If you wish to scale it down further, just be mindful of the fact that the holes for the light socket screws, as well as the inner diffuser grooves (see exploded view) shouldn't change, or else you won't be able to fit said socket, nor the diffuser.

WARNING:
DO NOT USE INCADESCENT BULBS as they will melt the mylar and start a fire. Use LED instead. Also, make an air circulation hole in the mylar sheet lid as seen in the exploded view image.

MATERIALS:

• PLA

• Bulb socket - I got the cheapest one I could find and modeled the light around it: https://www.amazon.ca/Leviton-08829-CW4-One-Piece-Incandescent-Lampholder/dp/B000HJDAFQ/
• 2-wire electric cord
• Electric plug
• Electric switch
• Two #8- 1/2" RH wood screws
• Smart bulb that fits A type socket (or an LED in the color of your choosing): https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B086SR53RV ( you can also find individual ones if you don't want a set)

INSTRUCTIONS:

• 3D print the two pieces. You will need supports, but make sure to eliminate them along the hole for elec. cable or you will never get that cleaned.
• Cut the mylar sheets to size (see dimensions in the exploded view image)
• Glue the round mylar to the lid underside
• Cut the hole in the lid along the inner ring edge (important for cooling)
• Pull the cable through the hole in the base.
• Do all the necessary wiring and screw the light socket to the base
• Roll one full sheet of mylar into a tube, and insert it into the inner groove (tape the edges to prevent unraveling)
• Insert the three outer diffusers into their grooves
• Place the lid on top.
• Have a tuna sandwich.
