I like ferrite core on cables but I constantly have issues with my laptop cable getting hooked on my desk. I made this cable protector to stop the cable from hooking on a desk.

This will fit 4mm cable with 15mm ferrite core. It will 'pop' over the cable and you slide it onto the ferrite core.
