Mostly just having some fun with this print (although I do have some ideas for using this down the road). There are only two pieces to this: the talon and the stand (the ball is not included, but there are plenty of other options for that available at the usual places). The claw has a plug at the bottom end for mounting in a socket in the stand.

Here are some dimensions you may find useful:

The claw is made for a ball with a diameter of 2.5 in. (63.5 mm). The plug has a diameter of 0.45 in. (11.43 mm) and a length of 0.45 in. (11.43 mm); the plug also has a 1 degree taper to make it easier to fit it into the socket hole.

I plan to make this model in several different variations; this is version 3.

Version 3 : Talons are straight segments with "knuckles". The claws extend only to the center of the ball, making it very easy to insert or remove the ball.

Print instructions

Print with a brim and supports; I have had success with "Support on build plate only" - if the "Everywhere" option is chosen the claws may be difficult to remove from the supports without breaking.
