Summary
The Torqeedo 1103c spares kit
Any good boater knows things fall overboard or break miles from any replacements.
The Torqeedo electric outboard motor has two key components that could render it useless that are easily 3D printable so I elected to design them for myself.
I used OPENScad to design the parts and I am including the source code with the stl resulting files for customization. (OPENScad is free and downloadable)
The SCAD code has a pair of variables which select which part to make, all of the dimensions and offsets are clearly shown and maybe adapted to fit other versions of the motor.
The Dead-man Key is the most feared lost part, locking pins can be made from a lot of easily found components (wooden sticks etc) but the Dead-man key requires a given shape and a strong magnet.
My code will allow you to create the dead-man key to fit whatever size button magnet you can find locally. For mine I bought a kit of 80 in various sizes off Amazon for $10 and I found the 8mm by 3mm thick one to be just right.
I printed the locking pin laying down with supports which took less time that standing upright and I used 50% fill to add strength.
The Dead-man key needs to be printed twice as it is a glue together after placing the magnet in the hole for it. I used 4mm line for the line to the man clip however you can increase the size in the variables to fit what you like or have on hand.
On a side note, as a long time programmer I found the language a bit hard to grasp but once I did it became easy to build things from it. Enjoy the code and hope you can learn things from it.

The Battery key prints best on it's side with supports
Post-Printing
Deadman key is in 2 parts
Select the size magnet either by name or by setting values in spares.osd file. I used 8mmx3mm magnet but a 10mmx3 might be better. Print 2 deadman sides, insert magnet and retainer line and glue together.
Print time was 1hr for 2 deadmankey half's and 3 hrs for batterypin
How I Designed This
I scaned the orginal key and built from there
Custom Section
source code for OpenScad for both parts
Also code is good example of building a part from small modules
