The Hat hook by Amadeo this is based on will work for most people. I was using the hook daily with a deep sunhat that had to be hung by the string. The string was sliding between the rack and the wall, slowly working the nail out, which then cause the hat hanger to flip upside down. The lip lets you hang hats with stings, and the second nail will prevent rotation.
