The standard cup holder did not work for me since it extend below the counter top and blocked a drawer. I placed the detergent jug on a wire rack but was still not satisfied with the holder attachment to the jug neck. Decided to create this holder that attaches to the rack.

The benefits are:

• solid attachment to rack and not the jug
• no drooping
• Jug movement does not affect the holder's position or angle.
  (Tilt the jug without dumping the cup)
