The USB port seems rather overexposed and this seems like an obvious upgrade. Should reduce anxiety and keep the USB port and flash drive protected when replacing the cover. Uses the original flush head case screws. 

To make it easier to hold the USB socket in place plug a USB cable into it before unscrewing the case screws.

The piece hanging down behind the main block is for looks or can be used with double sided foam tape for a more secure mount. 

I also use a USB 3.0 right angle adapter for extra protection.
