This holds mobile devices (phones and tablets) in the notch.
This took 30mins to create. Somebody better at 3D design can smooth out the edges to make it nicer. The PLA cost is less than $1. FLEX cost is less than $1.50.
This simple hunk of plastic can be bought for $20. We got one and everybody was fighting over it. Now we have several with some of our favorite colors. This design is better for us because these slots are wider to accommodate our devices with cases.
The NEGATIVE files can be used to cut out a slot in any object you want to use as a holder - like another STL here on thingiverse that looks like a real donut :) These can be scaled to better fit your particular device.

Notes:
I tried ABS, PLA, and FLEX - they all worked fine. I liked FLEX the best.
A finer layer height will turn out smoother.Sanding PLA/ABS/PETG makes it look nicer.
How I Designed This
