This lantern design was inspired by elfish lore and a love of symmetry.  It contains a square gothic dome, overlapping arches and other motifs from gothic architecture.

We've been using tea candles (LED, not flaming wax) or other LED type light sources for a cool glow and to cast interesting shadows.

Can be a table top decoration, Christmas tree ornament, costume prop etc based on the size of the print.

The lantern was designed in OpenSCAD and is infinitely customizable.
