Using the popular bird buddy perch model, we have observed many smaller birds cannot reach the seeds comfortably as the arms of the perch are too far away for them. They also don't like to stand on the built-in perch surface, so instead they jump into the seeds. Thus I remixed the model in Tinkercad to add an extra straight arm at the edge near the seeds. For this to work well, the perch should be lifted above the surface so the birds can grab it comfortably - we combine it with the picket fence
