Once i converted my Ender 3 V2 to direct drive, i wanted to use my Creality filament sensor too. So i created this small case that can float on a piece of bowden from extruder.

Just take the electronics from the original sensor a put it to this new case, use the same screws and push the lid on top. Then cut little piece of bowden and push it into the hole…

There can be some imperfections, also depending on printer calibration, but like this, it works well for me.
