Here's a basic cookie cutter designed for use with sugar cookies or other types of stamped/cut cookies. I recommend using Alton Brown's sugar cookie recipe but you do do. I do NOT recommend using refrigerated sugar cookie dough from the store (e.g. Pillsbury) because it doesn't hold a shape or details well and just oozes into a blob.

Printing should be straightforward, I printed some at reduced the scale to make more cookies with same amount of dough. The "handle" piece should be glued to the back of the stamp to make it easier to lift after stamping the cookie.
