A roller type spool holder bracket made for the Milled/Printed 3D Printer (MP3DP) PrusaI3 style. The MP3DP can be found here:

The spool holder is all metal. The parts I used are listed below. The brackets fasten to the center of each aluminum angle of the spool holder and mount to the top of the MP3DP. The brackets can be removed and the spool holder can be placed on a table.

The spool holder is designed for quick spool changes. The holder can accommodate several size spools without modifications.

Spool Holder Parts:

2 6-1/8” Aluminum Angle: 1/16” X 1”
2 5-1/2” Threaded Rod: 5/16-18
8 Nuts: 5/16-18
4 Nylon Lock Nuts: 5/16-18
2 Washers: 1”
10 Bearings: 608 ZZ

Cut aluminum angle to size. Drill 4 holes. Use 1” washers as a guide. The 1” washers are the largest diameter. Assemble the parts as shown in pictures.

Supports are designed into bracket.

Remove the small narrow triangle supports on the small overhang so this edge is square. I used an Exacto knife and a small straight file.
