A pegboard-style tracker for hit points, experience, and gold for the Gloomhaven board game.

Instead of tracking hit points and experience points on the Gloomhaven character mats, which quickly started to wear out, our group began experimenting with a 3D-printed pegboard concept. We still wanted something in the middle of our play area so that we could stack Discards and Lost card on each side. After a few iterations, this is the design we landed on.

The pegs are stackable, so 0-9 is represented with 1 peg, 10-19 with 2 pegs, etc. Each session starts with the HP pegs showing the character's maximum, while the XP and GP begin at zero.

The pegboard was designed to be easily printed without supports and to incorporate a simple color change without needing multiple extruders -- just swap your filament between the last big flat layer and the first layer where numbers/letters begin to print (around Z=10mm, depending on your layer height settings.)

If the pegs' fit is either too loose or too snug, you might try experimenting with your settings. If your bridging isn't perfect, printing without supports may leave a tiny bit less room in the holes of your pegs. On the other hand, using supports for the same holes may not be easy to remove, and can leave behind some filament that can impede a perfect fit. The pegs are quick prints; try printing one both ways and decide for yourself.

• Change filament after Z = 10.0mm (with .1mm layer height) to make the numbers and letters stand out (or to customize for each player)
• Pegs can be printed at a higher resolution for a potentially better fit.
• Pegs may or may not fit into one another better by printing with build-plate-only supports
• 100% infill on Pegs doesn't use up much more filament
• I wouldn't recommend ABS as I experienced some shrinkage with it that affected fit.
