These are risers to allow for verticality in D&D battle maps.

It prints flat, so no support need. 

They have labels designed in, the bottoms are thicker to allow better weight distribution.

There are plans to create large creature sized versions so that you have dragons in flight. 

I won't be designing anything greater than 6in for balance and play issues. I might create a version that allows you to clip a height to it instead of modeling it.
