This is a (almost) set and forget small E-Ink frame that picks up images from a "server" (docker) that you can serve your images from. I use it in conjunction with Immich to serve different E-Ink frames for my family.

You need to modify the "back" of the frame, cut of a "corner" for the button, make a hole for the USB-C connection and drill tow small holes to see leds (you can use some "light-pipes" here as well, if you print them in a clear filament).

We are talking a battery life of months. Recharge with USB-C when needed.

Print the "insert". Select the "battery" size you want. And print the correct "Header holder".
