Model Introduction

The Modular Magnetic Nozzle Tray is a versatile storage solution for 3D printer nozzles. Designed for tip-down orientation, it safely holds Prusa HF, MK4, E3D V6, and most M6-threaded nozzles. Its stackable, modular design with magnets allows easy expansion, organization, and workflow efficiency in workshops or print farms. Ideal for hobbyists and professionals alike.

Build Instructions

1. Prepare the Tray

   • Print the tray flat on the build plate.

   • Ensure magnets, if included, fit in the dedicated pockets.

2. Install Magnets (Optional)

   • Place 6×2 mm magnets into the bottom pockets.

   • Check polarity for stackable alignment.

3. Assemble Modular Trays (Optional)

   • Snap male and female connectors together to link multiple trays.

4. Insert Nozzles

   • Place the hex body of the nozzle in the slot, tip facing down.

   • Ensure the nozzle tip hangs freely and does not touch the surface.

5. Optional Accessories

   • Use colored rings or labels for nozzle identification.

Print Tips

• Material: PLA or PETG recommended.

• Orientation: Print flat on the base. No supports required.

• Layer Height: 0.15 mm for balance of quality and speed.

• Infill: 15–20% sufficient for rigidity.

• Perimeters: 3 for stronger walls.

• Post-Processing: Light sanding of magnet pockets if needed for snug fit.

• Clearance: 0.2 mm tolerance for snap connectors ensures easy modular assembly.
