I made these blocks to fit between the bolts on my Christmas Tree stand and the trunk of the tree. The bolts tend to sink into the trunk so these blocks just increase the surface area that the pressure is applied.

The tiniest strip of support was helpful in letting these come out clean. The rough edge between the support and the part was actually helpful in giving the block more grip on the trunk.
