Design

This model is an extra-long wall spacer from Ikea, used when you need to place furniture in front of power sockets or other objects, and want to secure the furniture properly to prevent it from tipping over.

It can replace Ikea's parts 141413 and 141414, and is suitable for Bestå cabinets and other Ikea series products.

Useful information

This object can provide a 120mm gap behind the furniture.

The minimum screw size required to fix the furniture to the wall with this object is 150mm long and 5mm or 6mm wide - the central hole can accommodate screws up to 6mm wide.

Print

Due to the pressure exerted by the screws on the object, it is necessary to ensure sufficient filling - at least 25%. 25% filling may be sufficient, as large metal Ikea washers will disperse the pressure to some extent.

For small protruding parts, you can choose whether to use a support structure or not - I tend not to use it. Fortunately, they are located at the bottom of the model, so you can see what's happening without wasting too much plastic.
