Summary

We had to push fit some ExaMAX (EBDM-6-8-2.0-S-RA-1-G-S) connectors from Samtec onto a series of boards.
On the initial ones the press tool crushed the holes at the top of the connector, so I designed this to slot into them and give it something solid to press into.

It works very well. no more crushed holes, and over 250 connectors fitted.
