I wanted a knob that would be stable and able to rotate both fast and precise when needed. This is just my take on this. There are other knobs, I went through some of them but was never satisfied.

This knob reminds me of the old rotary phones.

• Doesn't obstruct the display
• Is stable when clicking
• Allows for fast rotation with a single finger from any position easily
• Allows for precise rotation when you grab it by the sides
