Summary
This is a replacement hinge I made for our Prorack roofbox after I accidentally caught the garage door and broke the originals. The originals are available but they're rather expensive. From the markings they're made from fibre reinforced nylon based on the "PA6+GF" markings. I printed them in PLA and have load-tested them to 20kg with no breakage or warping - I hung a car battery off it!
Given the inside of the roofbox is dark so there's no issues with UV I think PLA is sufficient. If I had a better printer I might try ASA or carbon-reinforced nylon.
The first one I printed "whole" with supports but I think it's stronger printed in two halfs then joined. I glued them together with JB Weld epoxy.
