I totally love the idea of the Weevileye soldering kit! (get yours from BlinkyParts, SparkFun, or try to get lucky on AliExpress or similar) But I was missing a way for kids to show of their soldering results. Well - I fixed that :-)

Clip the battery holder inside of the printed holder and solder them together on the PCB. Now you can thread in some string for waring your Weevileye around your neck.
