Today, I made a mini USB hub stand for my Phecda.
I use this because I don't want to lay 2-3-4 USB cables on the laser, so that I can easily connect the camera and the laser itself, as well as other devices in the future.
However, the hub has a fourth port at the back end.
The hub is directly screwed into the frame with two M3x8mm hexagonal screws. For this, I drilled two 2.5mm holes 74mm apart and tapped M3 threads. A distance of 75mm might also work.
Ensure that they do not protrude too far internally, otherwise they may collide with the rollers or shaft of the Y-axis slide frame.
This HUB is from ALI Express. It's very compact and inexpensiveUSB hub
I also found a suitable USB A to B cable on Ali. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong one.
You need the USB-A on the left and the USB-B on the right. I originally wanted to shorten it, but it turned out like this instead.USB cable
I use a simple 1.5-meter USB-A extension cable to connect themLink
PHECDA will soon launch more additional features. Please follow me for updates.
