S.A.F.E. – Sensor Array For Environment (Unitree GO2)

Modular Raspberry Pi 5 payload for the Unitree GO2 robot. Designed for environmental sensing and easy hardware integration.

Sensor Integration

• HC-SR04 Ultrasonic: Front-mounted for obstacle detection.

• OLED Display: Slot for easy status monitoring while walking behind the robot.

• DHT Sensor: Dedicated slot for Temperature and Humidity monitoring.

• Swappable MQ Slot: Allowing you to swap between sensors (e.g., MQ-2 or MQ-135) based on your needs.

Hardware Requirements

• 4x M3 screws: Baseplate and main assembly.

• 4x Long M3 screws: Securing the clamshell (2x is enough).

• 4x M2.5 screws: Specifically for the Raspberry Pi 5.

Print Settings

• Material: PETG is mandatory (due to heat from the Pi 5 and MQ sensor).

• Supports: Required (Tree supports recommended).

• Infill: 20–30%.
