My SMC02 stepper motor controller din rail mount

The ZK-SMC02 is an integrated stepper motor controller and driver, all in one unit.
Very handy!

I am working on a project and I needed to mount an SMC02 controller to a din rail inside an electrical enclosure. I did not want to cut a hole in the door and mount the controller in the door, where people can mess with it. I want to mount it to a din rail, so I can lock it up inside the cabinet. Set it and forget it.

I had to make it in two parts. The limitations of 3d printing.

The top part has a cut out for the controller and 4 legs to hold it up off the bottom.

The bottom part has the din rail clips and a cut out for a 30mm fan. I printed these in ABS so I can super glue them together.

The 30mm fan is mounted using only 2 screws because of the din rail. I had to rotate it 45 degrees so the 2 screws are in the middle of the bottom plate. I centered the 30mm fan under the heat sink fins in the SMC02.

It’s a very easy print. No bridges or overhangs.
