This is my version of a profilng tool for copying pipe cutting profiles when doing pipe joints.

It is printed in PET-CF (Qidi) and tolerances are adapted to those material properties. You can use the scale and measuring function in most slicers to adapt this to your needs. 

The sticks used in the pictures, are 2mm stainless TIG filler rods i ordered on amazon. They are uncut in the pictures but should definately be cut shorter for more practical maneuvering.

I used 3 walls and 25% infill, but i don't think the design is sensitive to those settings.

How to use:

Check youtube pipe profile cutting.

In this design the collar slides down towards the main part, with all sticks inside the ring to lock / pinch the welding sticks in position against the narled inner tube part of the main part.  

Keep the collar loose until the wanted profile is achieved with the rods and then slid the collar down to have them bind up.

Then the profiler can be slided on to a tubing for scribing the profile, before cutting.

The two sizes here are 40mm ID and 45mmID (they are made 0.5mm oversize to count for inaccuracy in pet-cf printing and to slide effortlessly on a 40 or 45mm pipe).
