This is a mockup of a Waveshare 3.5 inch Touch Screen circuit board with ports, switches, mounts and flat cables included. I updated my SOVOL Zero with the factory 5 inch touchscreen upgrade. And after spending a ton of time making a visually matching case to the original, I wound up not liking how large and out of it place it looked on such a very compact machine. So, I went looking for a smaller version, similar in size to the screen on the Prusa machines I have.
I landed on the Waveshare 3.5 inch TFT Touchscreen (part number X003QSE1PJ) with HDMI and USB-C on one side, and will be using this model to make a new enclosure for the Sovol, again sticking to the design language of the original screen enclosure for the printer.

This was not intended to be printed, but to be used as a mock-up to size/position the board within the enclosure I am making for it. But, after having such good luck with it, I figured I'd share some anyone else working on an enclosure for this touchscreen.
That said, I also made a much lower fidelity version (just placement of ports and switech) that CAN be printed and used as a physical mock-up for positioning of the screen relative to what you will be installing it in.
I didn't have a ready supply of chip models, and really for the purposes of this, they really don't add much more than looks. I mainly sourced my chip models from the following sources, both were the only examples I could find of circuit boards with chips modeled for 3D printers:

Many thanks to both designers for modeling HDMI, USB-C and IC components so nicely.
Enjoy!
