Designed as a small container that can be slid into a pocket, this box can be slid open to reveal a space the size of a playing card. It can be locked in a fully closed and fully open position. A small protrusion on the lid indicates that it should be facing up when opening the box. It's perfect for storing small parts or a small medical kit in a pocket, and the box can be carried around or easily accessed in a backpack.
This box consists of three parts: the shell, the tray cover, and the tray itself. You can choose between a partitioned tray or an open tray. There is a picture showing a prototype of an orange box with four trays, but this would obstruct access to the end compartment. Therefore, the final design features four compartments, which works better. During assembly, the tray is inserted into the end cover without the need for glue, unless required. Then, two 6mm-long M3 screws are inserted through the external grooves and screwed into the holes in the tray. Do not tight
