Introduction
Earlier this summer I had to throw together a “quick and dirty” setup for a bird camera and decided to have a better solution next time with multiple use cases. This is what I came up with. This is a compact case for Raspberry Zero 2 and 170 degree wide angle camera with 1/4-inch tripod mounting holes. I couldn't find a compact case that would work for a wide angle camera so decided to design my own.
Case Instructions
The case is a “snap-to-fit” design so you will want to print with high precision. The boards are both mounted with screws to the base of the case. Use M2.5 for the Pi Zero and M2 for the camera board. You will also need a very short ribbon cable. Links to the parts I used will be provided below. There are tripod holes on three sides of the case that will allow you to select a desired camera orientation.
