Inspired by a nifty little case that expanded out to  allow access, I designed this case to be 100% 3D printed, and to keep the slim profile. Also, print it with no supports. 

To print: 

you need:

5 trays

1 tray lid

16 links

1 case lid. 

 To assemble, use bits of filament to lock the links in place. I find that adding all the links to the top of the tray (4 of them), then stacking the trays it works out really well. The case lid also doubles as a support - it fits under the middle tray when opened. 

Update: New V2 tray limits the rotation of the linkage, so now it won't need the support to stay up.

Update again: Fixed the borked V2 tray.
