This is a snap enclosure (no screws, no glue) designed to hold a Flipper Zero Small ProtoBoard v1.1.
The enclosure provides clearance for components above and underneath the PCB as well as on the side opposite to the ports/connectors:
- 8mm above PCB
- 7mm under PCB
- 8mm on the front side (opposite of the connector)
The enclosure just snaps together (no need for screws/glue). The PCB rests on holders in the enclosure and there are pins on the cover aligned with the screw pads to hold the PCB into place. There are two openings on the front side of the enclosure for the connectors.
I designed the enclosure to hold an expansion board that I created for a NRF24L01+ module (basically just the module, a 10uF capacitor, and wires). This module can be used to sniff wireless traffic from some older vulnerable keyboard/mouse dongles and send them arbitrary keystrokes (mouse jack). It helped me identify vulnerable devices that I was using.
I printed my test models with PETG / 0.4n / 0.2 layer height / 4 perimeters. I did NOT test with PLA, it may be too stiff, you will need to try.
