What is this: This is kind of a cage you screw onto the back of a raspberry pi zero, which clamps a USB type A connector to it.
Story: I tried to solve the issue of the 90° power connector and the hugh foodprint a pi Zero has due to it, which really annoyed me. After searching possible solutions, I discovered PCBs one can order, which basically just connect to the contacts on the back an then add USB A. Having enough old, unused USB cables at home, I took a shot and came up with this cage you see here. Of course, there is room for improvement and it can be shrinked even further, but I think it came out quite neatly.
I tested it with the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, might also work with other Pi Zeros.
Printed in PETG, requires 4 nuts and screws (M2) to mount it.
